Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have a video call with a medical provider before I receive my medication?
In the majority of the United States, no, patients do not need to have a video call with an independent licensed medical provider prior to receiving a prescription, if a prescription is deemed medically appropriate. However, a few states do require that patients have a video call with an independent provider. Currently, these states include: Arizona, Washington D.C., Delaware, Missouri, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and West Virginia. (Note: State telehealth regulations are subject to change).

Can I use insurance to pay for this medication?
At this time, insurance is not accepted for platform memberships, medical consults, or prescription medications. However, you may be able to use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card to pay for eligible medical expenses, depending on your specific plan's guidelines. If you are looking to save on out-of-pocket costs, the Primary Care + Prescription Discount Program is designed specifically for cash-pay patients. This tier includes discounted prescription rates and over 1,000 generic medications directly in the membership.

What is your return/refund policy?
Due to the nature of prescription medications and associated healthcare services, refunds cannot be offered by the independent providers or pharmacies once a prescription has been issued or medical services have been rendered.

Can I change the dosage of my medication throughout my treatment plan?
All medication-related questions should be directed to an independent licensed medical provider. If the independent provider determines that a dosage adjustment is clinically appropriate, the updated prescription is included in the membership.

Is my medication coming from a pharmacy?
Yes! All prescription medications are dispensed by independent, state-licensed, U.S.-based pharmacies. Fulfillment options depend on the specific care plan:

  • Vitality & Longevity Programs: Medications for these specialized programs are dispensed by independent, state-licensed compounding pharmacies. For more information regarding these specific facilities, please visit the pharmacy contact page.

  • General Telehealth Platform: For primary care, urgent care, and everyday health, prescriptions can be sent directly to the independent local pharmacy of your choice across all 50 states for your convenience.

Are the medications prescribed through the platform authentic?
Absolutely! All prescription medications prescribed by independent licensed providers and dispensed by independent, state-licensed, U.S.-based pharmacies are authentic.
